Ever since I was little, art has always been my escape. I can spend hours working on a piece and get lost in it without a thought to time. Art is the place where I can think but also just let my mind wander freely. I love the idea that there is always grace in art. I can make a mistake and often there is a second chance to work on it, fix it, improve it. Art is so forgiving and there is a freedom that comes with that. In my paintings I give so much of myself, my style, my ideas; but at the end of the day I am learning small lessons throughout the creative process. It is a give and take relationship and one that I hope will inspire you to create, to think differently, and to also find that passion that you can get lost in as well.
